Printing

We offer full-spectrum book printing services with complete customization at every stage: paper, trim, binding, cover finish, and beyond. Whether you're printing a sleek literary paperback or a stunning coffee table book, we deliver quality that speaks before a single page is turned.

The Paper You Pick Matters More Than You Think

Paper isn't just a surface for words to sit on. It's the first thing readers feel, and it quietly shapes how they perceive your book's value before they read a single sentence. Too thin, and your book feels cheap. Too heavy, and it becomes unwieldy.

Getting it right means understanding what your book actually needs. A literary novel reads beautifully on warm cream stock that's easy on the eyes. A photography collection demands bright, glossy paper that makes every image pop. A children's book needs something thick, durable, and tactile enough to survive small hands.

We help you navigate the options without the guesswork. From lightweight offset stocks to premium acid-free papers, from matte finishes to glossy sheens, we match the paper to your book's genre, audience, and aesthetic. The result? A reading experience that feels intentional, not accidental. Because the right paper doesn't just hold your words. It elevates them.

The Binding That Holds Your Story Together

People don't think about binding until something goes wrong. A spine that cracks on the first read. Pages that fall loose after a week. A book that refuses to lay flat when you need both hands free. Binding isn't glamorous, but it's the backbone of every great book, quite literally.

The right binding method depends entirely on what your book is and how it will be used. A bestselling paperback needs perfect binding that's clean, durable, and cost-efficient at scale. A reference guide or cookbook demands lay-flat binding so readers can follow along without wrestling the pages shut. A short novella sits beautifully in a saddle-stitched format. A premium hardcover deserves sewn case binding that lasts generations.

We match your binding to your book's purpose, not just its size. From perfect binding to case binding, sewn stitching to spiral coil, we ensure your book holds together the way it's meant to. Because a beautifully printed book with the wrong binding isn't just a missed opportunity. It's a broken promise.

How to Upload Your Files

  • To ensure top-notch print quality, we convert all uploaded files to PDFs, regardless of their original format. We accept single pages, double pages, or individual files. For detailed instructions on file submission, visit our File Formats Support Page.

Important - Your Cover

  • Including a cover in your order will add four pages to your total page count. A cover consists of a front cover, an inside front cover, a back cover, and an inside back cover.'

Bleed

  • Bleed refers to the area beyond your print's trim size, ensuring that images or colors extend beyond the final trim size. Add a 3mm bleed to each print file before uploading them to your Artwork Dashboard. Avoid placing any important content within the bleed area. You don't need to include a bleed if your pages are blank (i.e., no images/graphics reaching the edge). For more information on bleed, trim lines, and gutter areas, visit our Bleed Setup Support Page.

Binding

  • Use our Instant Quote Calculator to select from various binding options. For detailed information on binding types and file setup instructions, visit our Binding Types Support Page.

Please Note:

  • Our Instant Quote Calculator adjusts to the appropriate binding options based on page count and paperweight. For example, Perfect Binding might be available for high page counts and paperweights, while Staple or Wiro Binding might be better for lower counts and weights.

Spine

  • For Perfect Binding, design your spine and upload it as part of a cover spread or a separate PDF file. Ensure a 3mm bleed at the top and bottom of your design. Spine measurements will be calculated and displayed in your Shopping Cart and Artwork Dashboard. If you choose not to include a spine file, insert a blank page.

Completing Your Order

  • Ensure all page thumbnails are filled. For instance, if your order includes 32 pages, your files must fill 32 thumbnails. You can add blank pages or adjust your quote if needed. For further details, visit our Print File Checklist Support Page.
